Make Moves That Matter.
Back on My Feet is a national nonprofit operating in 14 cities across the US. We empower people experiencing homelessness and addiction to transform their lives and achieve self-sufficiency through the power of running, community, and support services.
Our Approach.
Circle Up
Three times a week at 5:30 AM, members and volunteers meet to 'Circle Up.' These Circle Ups are designed to bring people together and build consistency through running. In addition to the physical health benefits and discipline members build, they are introduced to an open, welcoming community supported by an incredible group of dedicated volunteers.
Path to Independence
Outside Circle Ups, our members meet with Back on My Feet program staff weekly and create a personalized goal plan to independence. Our team provides resources to help overcome barriers to employment and housing, including work readiness training, financial literacy, and financial assistance.
